St. Fintan’s G.A.A. Mountrath Celebrates Remarkable Victories and Honors Sporting Legacy
Mountrath, Ireland – March 6, 2024 – St. Fintan’s G.A.A. Mountrath proudly announces an evening of celebration to honour the outstanding achievements of its Junior hurling team, clinching the Junior league title in 2023. The event, set to take place on Friday, March 8th, at Eddie Kirwan’s Bar, promises an unforgettable evening filled with music, camaraderie, and nostalgia.
The joyous occasion not only commemorates the recent success of the Junior hurling team but also pays homage to the remarkable triumphs of the past. The St. Fintan’s community fondly remembers the Intermediate hurlers’ triumphant victory in the Intermediate Championship and the Junior Footballers’ remarkable win in the Junior B Football Championship, both in the memorable year of 1996.
The awards evening promises to be a fitting tribute to the dedicated athletes, coaches, and supporters who have contributed to St. Fintan’s rich sporting legacy. Renowned musician and singer Martin Delaney will grace the stage with his legendary talent, providing a soundtrack of lively tunes and heartfelt melodies.
Attendees can also indulge in a delectable spread of food while partaking in an exciting raffle with enticing prizes up for grabs. Admission to the awards evening is priced at 10 euros, with all proceeds contributing to the continued success and development of St. Fintan’s G.A.A. Mountrath.
